Initial Setup Choice

Before using CADLex you first need to decide which mode you will operate.

Shared dictionary via local network
CADLex Webserver

Consider the following when selecting :

CONSIDERATION	LOCAL NETWORK SHARED DICTIONARY	WEBSERVER
SECURITY	Appropriate for locally sandboxed and more secure environments	Encryted communcation with simple password accessed administration
ADMIN	No dictionary administration tools - administrators must review and manage suggestions manually via text files editing the master dictionary list	Provides all users with dictionary updates and administrators with management tools
PERFORMANCE	Small files written locally and quickly.	Connection limited substantial number of users may attract additional server charges
SCALE	Unlimited	Unlimited with global access
